Villa Sarteano

If your car can reach it, you will be rewarded with a great place for larger groups with a big pool, private apartments, and beautiful surroundings. You are in the wilderness, so don't leave everything open ???? Our host Luca was spectacular, always helpful and offered us local deals. Due to the short distance to the highway, we went to the surrounding areas and explored a lot.

I would rate this villa between 3 and 4 star. The location of the villa is just perfect with a stunning view! It is located within 7 minutes of the autostrada to Florence and Siena. And there are a lot of nice villages to visit close by. The atmosphere of the villa is cosy and authentic. But it must be said that the kitchen in the upper villa (the other ones we didn't use for practical reasons) and bathrooms are outdated and not very clean. Hot water in some of the showers was not very stable, it varied from very hot to very cold, when you were lucky somewhere in the middle. Also the shower areas were very small and not very clean. The owners were very friendly and always available for help, but were not able to fix the hot water problem in the showers.
However we had a great time, the pool area is great with more than enough sunbeds. And the long, covered diner table outside was perfect for our diners and playing board games. So we loved our stay, but in our opinion the kitchen and showers need an upgrade. So I would recommend the villa to a friend because of the location, but would mention our opinion on the bathrooms and kitchen.

This villa was amazing! The pool was clean and the pool area has a beautiful view. The separate sleeping areas for several families and couples worked well as everyone had private space when needed. Communal space was also great, and we could all sit together at meals. The bathrooms are small and old-fashioned but this was not a problem - just a comment for others. The area was also great with many things to do close by and lovely restaurants available.

A really unique and amazing accommodation, one of the most spectacular apartments we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Very authentic, beautifully renovated villa, a true tuscan experience. Great cities, program opportunities mostly within (at most) a 0,5 / 1 hour drive. Would recommend for big friend groups or (even multiple) families.

Very nice villa in a very peaceful surroundings. The assistant from Posarelli Villas was very helpful when we booked something we actually didn't want and offered us a perfect solution. The owner was also very helpful and responsive. The villa is beautiful, the only thing you need to take into account is that the heating (if needed) is very expensive and you have to pay it extra. So... if it is cold outside... perhaps this is not the best choice. Apart from that - everything was great! Would love to stay here again.

We were a group of 5 families (10 adults and 12 kids). Each family stayed at a separate unique apartment, had its own facilities and terrace, could keep its privacy. At the same time, our kids aged 2-9 and their parents had a nice pool (good for non-swimmers and swimmers) with a beautiful view and lots of place to play and discover nature in the spacious garden. Sarteano nearby is a very nice town where one can shop, eat regional food (including great ice creams) and discover Tuscany and Umbria architecture. The villa is located a 40 minute drive to Montepullciano, Castiglione del Lago and Bagni San Filippo. I strongly recommend this place for everybody who love Italian countryside, pools, gardens and typical Tuscan rural style

Et fantastisk sted, som var over al forventning. Dog manglede der et fælles spisested både ude og inde til os alle 20. Vi fandt en løsning.
Renligheden kunne godt have været mere grundig.

Sehr zu empfehlen für eine Woche mit vielen Freunden, die gerne alle Ihren Freiraum haben möchten. Gepflegt und wunderschön!

Bellissima casa grande per tutta la famiglia e tutte le esigenze. Molto pulito fuori e dentro.Buoni ristoranti nelle vicinanze.

So stellt man sich eine Italien-Urlaub im Winter vor: tagsüber durch das noch warme Orcia- Tal fahren und Weinproben machen. An kühleren Tagen lässt man sich im Thermalbad erwärmen und abends sitzt man am Kamin. Vielen Dank für ein Haus was sehr gut ausgestattet wat und genau unseren Vorstellungen entsprach.
