Lovely location with beautiful surroundings. Katerina, the host onsite was absolutely fantastic and a great host. Lovely lady who was always on hand for any questions or requests. The accommodation is beautifully built with plenty of space and was kept very clean and tidy.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Chania. The host was excellent, always on hand for anything, and even brought us delicious homemade food. The villa was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a great pool, a brilliant BBQ area, and stunning views. We also used the local masseuse, who came to the villa — the massages were excellent and very reasonably priced. The location was peaceful yet just a short drive to shops, tavernas, beaches, and a local supermarket that has everything you need. Our children loved watching the goats walk up the road each day. We would also highly recommend the local butcher in Georgioupolis for BBQ supplies. A perfect base for exploring Crete — we’d definitely return!

A Perfect Family Getaway – Peaceful, Welcoming, and Full of Adventure

We had a wonderful stay in a lovely location that was ideal for a family holiday. The accommodation was excellent — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It’s tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet still close to the sea, lake, and other amenities.

The lake is just a short and easy walk away, with a few shops and plenty of places to eat nearby. A day at the lake is a must for all the family — relaxing and fun. The supermarket is around 3km away and walkable, I’d recommend driving if you have kids.

There are some great places to eat in the area. Georgia’s is just a short walk and perfect for a traditional meal. A 10-minute drive takes you to The Salty Goat, right on the beach and has a fantastic vibe. Georgioupoli is also nearby 5-10min dirve and offers lovely shops, great dining options, and a fantastic butcher (Kafkalas) — perfect for BBQ lovers!

One of the highlights of our trip was a 4hr Quad bike safari into the mountains. It was an amazing experience and the kids absolutely loved it — highly recommended!

Finally, a huge thank you to our host, Katerina. She was incredibly attentive and welcoming, with great local knowledge. She surprised us with delicious homemade treats every few days, which made our stay feel extra special. Her hospitality truly made our holiday top-class.

Es war einfach alles perfekt! Alles sah aus wie auf den Bildern und es gibt nichts relevantes zu bemängeln! Wir konnten auch bereits etwas früher als geplant einchecken. Katerina war der perfekte Host und war stets sehr zuvorkommend :) Wir kommen definitiv wieder :)

Beautiful property true to the pictures, close to the village and the lake and also close to the beach. About 30 mins away from Rethymno and an hour away from Chania. Katerina the host was exceptional, always very responsive and helpful and even brought some gifts from their farm and dropped by with a cake. Was very responsive and had really good recommendations. Couldn't have asked for any more.

If I could I’d give this 7STARS!!!! First of all, can I say, one of the negative reviews below made me panic a few days before our trip and I was worried about what we were going to arrive to. As a person who ALWAYS books amazing hotels & villas. THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This place needs the reviews upping to make sure people know how incredible it is. From Katerina the host, everyday making sure we’re ok, bringing delicious Greek delicacies, she was in hand whenever we needed her. The Villa is so so stunning, EXACTLY like the pictures. It’s in a typically rural Greek village which is SAFE but just slightly out of the way (5-10 mins from everything) but that’s exactly what we wanted. Peace and quiet. The views were spectacular. The most beautiful thing to see were the goats every morning on the lane going down to be milked, it was just the most gorgeous alarm. If you want, luxurious, clean, peaceful Morden Greek vibes, THIS is your perfect destination! 11/10 thank you so much!!!

The villa here was incredible. It look incredible in the images however in person it was even better. Great private location and very chilled. The host was possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. Super responsive, friendly & extremely helpful. The host even brought round snacks for us and little gift bags before we left. Definitely recommend. Booked Villa El for my 30th birthday! And it was the best decision.

The villa is BEAUTIFUL exactly like the picture! Katerina our host was soo nice she brought us a treat during our stay and a gift for each of us as we departed. She was super responsive whilst we was staying she recommended us a few dinner spots not too far from the villa.

Would suggest hiring a car as most things are not walkable distance.

Would definitely recommend. and might book the villa again!

Villa El was a perfect getaway location. The villa was as shown in pictures - stunning. Katerina was always on hand to offer suggestions for local activities and restaurants. Even bringing us local delicacies for us to try during our stay. We had an amazing time and highly recommend this place.

We had a great time at this amazing villa! It was just as described and as per the photos. A really well thought out space. The host was super friendly, really responsive with clear instructions and suggestions of local restaurants etc. Katerina our host was amazing, she even cooked a welcome meal for us, along with baking a cake and bringing us treats during our stay with a lovely gift to leave. The location is great with beautiful surroundings! You’ll need a car to explore.

A beautiful stay, the host was so lovely and accommodating the whole duration of our holiday. The villa was perfect and I recommend anyone staying here. The host was incredibly helpful and very generous, providing us with supplies and local recommendations upon arrival and very kindly gave us gifts to depart with when we checked out, which was so kind of her. Our stay at the Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The accommodation was beautiful and very well maintained. The location was perfect – a supermarket was just 6 minutes away by car. We could reach the cities of Chania and Rethymno in about 30 to 40 minutes.

Restaurants and the beach were also only 8 minutes away, which we loved. We were especially thrilled with the nearby Kournas Lake. There, we could dine at great restaurants, rent pedal boats, and observe turtles.

Overall, it was a wonderful vacation, and we would come back anytime. Thank you for the great hospitality!

We had the best stay at Villa El! The Villa is gorgeous and was just perfect for a girls trip. Our host Katerina went above and beyond to make us comfortable and make the stay special. She even surprised me with a cake for my birthday. We would stay here again without a doubt!

One of the most amazing villas I have ever seen. The views of the mountains were incredible to wake up to and the villa looked exactly like it does on the pictures. The host was incredible with looking after us and she even cooked us spaghetti carbonara with rose on arrival and cakes through the trip. Would 100% recommend to anyone was one of the best trips.

We had a great stay. Katerina welcomed us in her house with a tasty cake … always reactive, bringing us some gift during our stay like cakes, fresh eggs and so on … Her Villa is astonishing and peaceful. Only regret it s not having able to stay some more few days. The finition of the villa and the crazy view in front of the mountain is incredible. It is a Gem !!

We were fortunate enough to visit many beautiful places in our lives, but from all the luxury villas in Italy and Greece we had the pleasure of staying at, this was the most fantastic property by a long shot. Stunningly beautiful, modern, clean, spacious, comfortable. Our hostess Katarina was wonderful, beyond kind and helpful, went out of her way to make us feel right at home. The view from the infinity pool to the surrounding majestic hills is simply breathtaking. Monumental. A beautiful, sandy, crystal clear water beach is 4 minutes from the villa by car, slowly deepening sand plato is perfect for the little ones as well, not a single soul around in a 300m radius. We recommend it whole heartedly and will be sure to return the first chance we get.

The Villa is n a beautiful setting of olive trees, with stunning views of the mountains. The Villa is very modern, was spotlessly clean and we felt the pool area in particular felt really luxurious- it’s easy to spend lazy days here listening to the crickets, the goat bells and the cockerel.
You can walk to local tavernas for food, but need transport to go to the nearby supermarket and beaches.
Our hosts were helpful and kind. We loved our stay here and would happily return.

A small paradise in the middle of the Greek olive groves. Luxury new villa and contains everything you need. The swimming pool is great, the supermarket is nearby and Kournas Lake is nearby. Katerina is wonderful and kind host who helps you with everything. It was the best vacation we had in Greece and we will definitely be back again
