Villa Maripol

Villa Maripol is a lovely property. It is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy walking distance to small shops and restaurants although the walk back up the hill is a little more challenging. Kostas, the owner is extremely helpful organising a taxi for us to go to a wine tasting experience. It is also a bonus that the house was cleaned with new towels and bedding twice during our stay. The pool is 1;4metres deep which is fine although may not be suitable for young children who are not confident swimmers. The twin property Villa Popi is directly in front of Villa Maripol so if you have the option I'd definitely go for Villa Popi for a spectacular view looking out across the whole bay.

The villa is modern, meticulously maintained and extremely clean both inside and out. Kostas, the owner, is extremely kind and helpful. The area is very quite and the view extends from the mountains to the sea. We had a wonderful week and will definitely return to Villa Maripol in the future.

Vi hade en bra vistelse. Boendet var över förväntan och såg bättre ut i verkligheten än på bilderna. Värden var trevlig och var enkel att nå samt hjälpsam. Jag kan starkt rekommendera boendet.

We had such an amazing experience here. The location was perfect — close to local restaurants and shops, the beach and a quick drive to Chania. The air bnb itself was gorgeous, nice and spacious, and clean. We loved the pool and used it almost everyday! If we needed anything Kosta was quick to respond. We would recommend this spot for anyone to stay!! We hope we can come back soon. Thank you!!

The villa is stunning just as it looks in the photos. The welcome pack was more than expected and greatly received. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk from the villa and the beach/ restaurants are just less than 10 minutes so perfect location. Kostas is an excellent host super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

Une magnifique villa avec tout le confort nécessaire. Nous y avons passé 4 nuits et la maison répondait à notre demande. Une excellente literie. De belles terrasses, une belle vue. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation

Very nice place not far from the beach and two supermarkets. Quiet area, comfy pool and sunbeds! Good air conditioning. I recommend this place.

This villa was immaculate and the host was lovely and very helpful. The beds are so comfortable and kitchen has everything you need. The pool was perfect in the heat. When we arrived there was food in the fridge and very welcoming. The Villa is in a private area at the top of a slight hill, which is good exercise to Kalamaki beach and restaurants. We used the buses which were regular and cheap into Chania. Would definitely come back to this villa. ????

The villa is lovely just like the pictures and walking distance from some small shops / restaurants. Good distance to explore the whole west side of the island in a car. The hosts Kosta and Poppy were very nice and allowed us a later check out which we really appreciated. Very comfy beds and someone came to clean/change sheets half way through. The agency this listing uses is obviously very busy / understaffed. I had to call twice to get a response and did not feel the personal touch in the booking process.

When asked my family the highlight of this 10-day trip to Crete, the answer was "the house". I think that summarizes our experience with the Villa and, in particular, with the host who was always alert. Permanent care of the pool, new towels and sheets every third day, all worked to perfection including all the very new equipment the Villa has. We will miss Crete but most certainly we'll miss this place. We'll be back!
