Villa Margherita Due

La villa è bella e completa di tutto con una piscina stupenda in un contesto bellissimo. Purtroppo dalla descrizione non si capisce ma la casa è all'interno di una corte e dalla casa alla piscina c'è una strada in comune con le altre case del complesso. Le case sopra "affacciano" sulla piscina, dove manca la privacy. In considerazione di questo il prezzo è decisamente alto.

Un posto davvero fantastico e ricco di pace, ottimo per rigenerarsi. Piscina splendida. Proprietaria davvero gentile. Consigliatissimo. Solo una segnalazione, non un punto a sfavore anzi forse un plus ma è bene ricordarlo: il primo centro abitato è Cortona e sta a 20 minuti di macchina. Infine un suggerimento alla proprietà: avvisate che il giardino non è recintato. Per chi porta con se animali domestici puo' essere una informazione importante.

L’hôtesse est très réactive, agréable et flexible; Les photos ne sont pas d’actualité mais ça n’enlève en rien au charme de la maison Margherita Due! L’emplacement est un peu éloigné de tout, commerces, restaurants, mais très proche de Cortona qui mérite le détour ! Petit bémol sur les équipements de base: malgré le passage du Covid, du savon douche et un petit nécessaire de cuisine de base pour les premiers jours aurait été bienvenu, au vu de l’éloignement de l’emplacement ! La maison est cependant très propre! Il faut juste être à l’aise avec les chiens du quartier, qui sont habitués des lieux et nous ont laissé des « cadeaux » côté terrasse… ???? avec un chien nous-mêmes, nous avons frôlé les incidents diplomatiques par moments! Je continue cependant à vanter les mérites de cette maison, qui offre une vue spectaculaire sur les collines de la Toscane et des couchers de soleil renversants !

The host, Margherita, was very helpful and responsive with us. We were made to feel extremely welcome and she was always on hand if we needed anything!

Pros about this villa: gorgeous and private huge pool, and beautiful sunsets. The location up in the mountains was pretty incredible, but its location made it an extra long drive to get anywhere. The altitude also made it so that it was quite a bit colder (compared to Cortona and the wineries), and since the pool isn’t heated, it was hard to enjoy (we were there mid-Sept). I did go in for a cold plunge! But my kids didn’t want to go in. The fig trees and spacious grounds were fun for my 7 and 9 year old. And I really enjoyed lying on the lounge chairs (with a blanket!) All in all it was quite the unique experience! We stayed in and cooked dinner every night because we were afraid to drive down the long winding road on the edge of the mountain in the dark!

I probably don't exaggerate when i say we had the best airbnb experience so far with this place. margherita was an absolute dream as a host, she's incredibly kind (she brought us fresh figs from her garden for example) and helpful without hestitation whenever you need sth. also the house itself is breath taking, it's like the cliche of an old tuscan style villa, that leaves nothing to be desired for, especially given the equipment and the ridicolously large pool. all that for this price is a no-brainer rly. you gotta like the feeling of being low key in the middle of nowhere "out in the wild" but when you're looking for a place to escape from any kind of city and stuff and wanna reconnect with nature after a stressful time at home this is the best option you'll find. we'd always come again and would recommend it for anyone:)

Séjour agréable autour de la superbe piscine. Marguerite est très sympa.
Mais pour nous, le prix est trop élevé par rapport aux prestations de la maison.

Wonderful house with a large and clean pool 30minutes by car in the hills of ancient Cortona where you can enjoy tuscany’s dolce vita at it’s finest!! We highly enjoyed our stay with 6 adults and a child.

Sehr nette Familie, Villa sehr schön , jedoch Duschen etwas eng und alt.
Zufahrt sehr lange und mühsam .
Sehr sauber und gepflegte Anlage!

Les propriétaires sont charmants et on répondu à toutes nos questions très rapidement.

The villa was perfect, we loved our week long stay and Margaritta, the owner, was absolutely wonderful. She made our group dinner one night and it was amazing. I am the owner a travel agency for 22 years and the hospitality was over the top.

Beautiful stay! The Airbnb is in very good location and has fantastic views. The hosts are also extremely nice and helpful. It is quite far from the nearest town and a car is required to get there, so plan accordingly. Would definitely recommend!

Schönes Haus mit 2 SZ und einem Schlafplatz auf der oberen Etage. 3 Badezimmer. Pool zur exclusiven Nutzung, allerdings werden in unmittelbarer Nähe zwei weitere Objekte mit separaten Pools vermietet. Kurvenreiche Anfahrt in sehr ruhige Lage. Möglichst vorher einkaufen, es sind 30 min bis zum nächsten Supermarkt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett.

Beautiful view and oasis of rest. Leave your phone behind and enjoy the sunset and nature. Very welcoming hosts! It’s a bit of a drive of the mountain to Cortona (20’) and Trassimeno (40’), but the route is really scenic!

L alloggio dista circa 30 minuti da Cortona con passaggio attraverso strada di montagna piena di curve…una volta arrivati il posto merita il viaggio…nella pace più assoluta delle colline toscane/umbre…il cellulare non prende ma c’è il Wi-Fi….piscina pulita e di grande dimensioni…spazi abbondanti….lo consiglio per una vacanza in totale relax…aime però credo che il prezzo sia eccessivo (parere personale)

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub!!!!!
Dieses Ferienhaus lässt einen jede Sekunde genießen. Wir wurden herzlich und freundlich empfangen, ein gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe wurde uns übergeben. Die Vermieterin Margerita ist immer für einen da, diskret und und fleißig immer um alle Pflanzen und die Grünanlage auf dem gesamten Anwesen bemüht. Der große Pool ist vom Morgen bis zum Abend sonnendurchflutet. Margerita hat in ihrem Haus noch ein kleines Restaurant, dass sie liebevoll betreibt und von Montag bis Freitag für wenig Geld tolle Gerichte zubereitet. Die gesamte Anlage ist ca. 20 Minuten von Cortona weg, doch die Fahrt lohnt sich in jedem Fall. Margerita hat dort 4 Ferienhäuser jedes mit eigenem Pool und in diskreten Abständen zueinander. Wer Ruhe, Erholung und Entspannung sucht, ist hier Bestens aufgehoben. Wir werden bestimmt unseren nächsten Urlaub dort verbringen.

We found this villa absolutely charming, the house is full of sweet details and homey Tuscan touches. We woke up to beautiful views from our bedroom. The property was well taken care of inside and out. We enjoyed exploring Cortona and the surrounding area but also spent a few days just relaxing by the pool and taking in the beauty of the countryside. We had a lovely vacation and we highly recommend this property.

A great country home in Tuscany, we were very happy with this property. The kids ran around the large garden and we spent most of our vacation by the pool. The views from the pool are majestic, this is the place to be for a relaxing and peaceful vacation with your family.

Nous avons été surpris par la beauté et la tranquillité de la Villa Margherita. Nous avons apprécié une semaine avec nos trois enfants et nous n'avons jamais été aussi détendus. Les vues sont meilleures que n'importe quelle carte postale et la villa est exceptionnellement bien aménagée et équipée.
La Villa est au centre de tout ce que la Toscane a à offrir, la semaine a passé rapidement et nous voulons tous y retourner un jour.

We fell in love with Cortona when we visited for just a day 10 years ago and couldn’t wait to come back and stay for a whole week. Villa Margherita was the perfect base for us to visit Cortona and the area. We liked the unusual layout of the house, and of course the grounds are beautiful, with very nice views. We recommend the Osteria il Teatro in Cortona, a special little place in the center.

Me and my family stayed at Margherita Due for a week in June and we highly recommend this place for those who are looking for a quiet and peaceful Tuscan vacation. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the outdoor area is well kept. There is a beautiful view from the pool and the lovely town of Cortona has a lot of great restaurants.
