Casale Giotto

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft, mitten in der Natur. Sehr ruhig. Der Pool ist herrlich gelegen, in der Sonne, allerdings unbeheizt. Sehr kalt im Oktober. Aber zum Füße reinhalten herrlich. Nette Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, vor allem die Küche. Wir waren 11 Erwachsene, ein Kind und ein Hund und es waren genug Utensilien vor Ort. Manchmal musste man beim Duschen auf warmes Wasser warten und hier und da könnten vielleicht Glühbirnen ausgetauscht werden oder Amarturen nochmal festgezurrt werden. Aber an sich: Eine sehr sehr schöne Unterkunft und wir waren total happy.

Wir haben als Großfamilie den 70. Geburtstag unseres Vaters hier gefeiert und hätten uns keinen besseren Ort wünschen können! Das Haus war sehr sauber, gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders toll war, dass genügend Platz für alle da war und wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Die Ausstattung war hervorragend und hat unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Pool, der vor allem den Kindern riesige Freude bereitet hat. Die Kommunikation mit dem Host war herzlich und unkompliziert, und auch die Hausmeisterfamilie war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und nett. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits, aber sehr schön gelegen – ideal zum Entspannen und doch nicht weit entfernt von allem Wichtigen. Wir können die Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Ein schönes großes Haus für eine große Gruppe von Freunden oder Familie. Toller Außenbereich mit genug Schatten durch große Bäume, Tischtennis Platte und überdachtem Essbereich. Auch bei Regenwetter haben wir drinnen genug Platz für 16 Erwachsene + 3 Kleinkinder gefunden um zu Essen. Nach kurzer Autofahrt zum Bahnhof in Vicchio ist es unkompliziert möglich, mit dem Zug nach Florenz zu fahren. Mit Monika, der Eigentümerin, und dem Hausmeisterpaar welches auf dem Gelände wohnt, war der Kontakt jederzeit freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Schlafräume und Bäder befinden sich alle in einem Flur und das Haus ist recht hellhörig, sodass Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf ggf. Schwierigkeiten haben könnten. Das Anwesen hat Charme und eine tollen Aussicht. Die letzte Renovierung scheint schon etwas her, zB sind die Bäder nicht sonderlich modern (dennoch funktionabel), sodass wir den Gesamtpreis als relativ hoch einschätzen.

Smukke solopgange og spektakulære solnedgange i fred og ro. Hele familien med bedsteforældre, børn og børnebørn hyggede sig i Casa Giotto, både ved poolen med bordtennis og basketkurven.

Boligen var bedre end forventet. Der var masser af plads til 16 personer. Man har huset helt for sig selv uden naboer og der er meget stille. Hvis man er en gruppe, der skal hygge sig sammen er det helt perfekt. Stort brugervenligt køkken, mange værelser og godt udeområde. Kan klart anbefales. Det er muligt at bestille kok til stedet til meget fornuftig pris og (lokal) mad i rigelige mængder. Kontaktpersonen finde i huset.

Posto davvero speciale e pieno di storia, situata in collina con una vista mozzafiato, immersa nella bellissima natura toscana, dove potersi perdere in passeggiate infinite e a pochi passi dalla casa natale di Giotto, artista geniale e precursore del Rinascimento italiano. Raggiungibile facilmente, abbiamo trovato tutto pulito e in ordine, camere, bagni, cucina, giardino e piscina erano perfetti e la villa ha tutto quello di cui si possa aver bisogno e se dovesse mancare qualcosa la proprietà e l'eccezionale collaboratore Salvatore possono provvedere immediatamente. Dopo una bella cena, una partita a ping pong e una serata a guardare le stelle, si può dormire che è una meraviglia. Consiglio a tutti di avere la fortuna che abbiamo avuto noi... di soggiornare nell'incantevole e affascinante Casale Giotto.

Our group of 10+dog had a great time! Claudia, Salvo and Laura did everything to make our stay comfortable! Everything was clean and and tidy. Just make sure to bring warm clothes in cold season as it naturally takes a while for the spacious farm to be heated. The farm is located in the idyllic landscape of Toscana, so you can also go on wonderful hikes from there! There are a delicious Restaurant and huge supermarket you can reach by car in a few minutes.

Tolle Unterkunft. Wunderschöne Lage in den toskanischen Hügeln. Danke vor allem an Claudia für die vielen guten Restaurant- und Freizeittipps.

Schönes Haus für große Gruppen. Das Hausmeister pärchen wohnt neben dem Haus und war bei Problemen sofort da einziges hindernis war das die beiden ausschließlich Italienisch sprechen können man konnte sich aber trotzdem irgendwie verständigen. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und es hat an nichts gefehlt lediglich der Gasbackofen war nicht so gut dort hat ein essen gerne mal die 3-4 fache Zeit beansprucht wie normal. Alles in allem ist das Haus sehr zu empfehlen

Miejsce z duszą :) Dom o bogatej historii, zlokalizowany na szczycie wzgórza z widokiem na okoliczne winnice i dom Giotta. Dom jest czysty, dobrze wyposażony, ogród zadbany. Piękny salon. Do kupienia wino z winnicy gospodarzy. Polecam na leniwe przedpołudnia nad basenem i wieczorne wycieczki po toskańskich miasteczkach.

bbiamo trascorso una settimana meravigliosa al Casale Giotto! La villa è perfetta per gruppi numerosi; eravamo in 14 e abbiamo trovato tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. La casa è spaziosa e ben attrezzata, con una cucina fantastica e camere confortevoli. Il giardino e la piscina sono stupendi. L'accoglienza è stata calorosa e la posizione è ideale per visitare i dintorni. Consigliatissimo!

Bellissimo casale, ottimamente fornito per le nostre esigenze. L’assistenza locale molto pronta e gentile, forse potrebbero essere più chiari nel descrivere che si tratta di una casa vacanza, è dotata del minimo indispensabile a livello di materiali di consumo (detersivi, carta igienica, etc)

Vi havde et fantastisk dejligt ophold i det rene og autentiske hus, der ligger med smuk udsigt og gode udearealer (pool, bordtennisbord, overdækket opholdsareal). Servicen var fantastisk og vi satte stor pris på al den hjælp vi fik if. til morgenmad den første morgen + leverancer af kastanjer og frisk ricotta.

Beautiful old villa, with lots of space. The view over the valley is amazing and the pergola is a great place for outdoor-dinner. Nice clean pool a bit off the house up the hill. Beautiful area around, not very touristic. The contact to the owners was really easy an freindly via Whatapp and the "caretaker"-couple living in the house is also really nice. We had no problems at all, although some night we have been celebrating quite loud.
All in allm total recommendation! :)

Perfect stay for the whole family aged 3 to 64. Clean, quiet and nice hosts living in the other end of the house. We were absolutely satisfied - nothing to complain about. 5 stars out of 5!

We are very satisfied with the stay at this villa. It is a beautiful location, the swimming pool is beautifully situated on the lawn, there is a nice roof next to the house with table tennis and large tables and the rooms inside are spacious. It is good to know that there are caretakers who are present next to the house during the week, but we were not bothered by that and they cleaned the pool daily. In addition, some facilities are a bit dated (umbrella/showers), but that didn't detract from the great experience.

Geweldig uitzicht en fantastische omgeving

This place was exactly what i hoped for.!! Plenty of space for everyone, with 14 friends. Plenty of seats too. Big kitchen!!! The patio was our favorite place, and the vieuws are spectacular from different angles. Inside temperature is cool. Because there are fans and all rooms have shutters.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in den Herbstferien in der Toskana verbracht. Das Haus ist riesengroß und bietet super viel Platz. Die Umgebung ist toll. Die Gastgeber sind extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das auf dem Grundstück wohnende Hausmeister Pärchen steht immer für Fragen zur Verfügung, für frische Brötchen wird auf Wunsch gesorgt. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub! Danke an alle!

The house is comfortable and fully served our purpose. We could enjoy 100% privacy at the pool. The kitchen is big and well equipped. Supermarkets are closeby. Lots of activities on a short distance. The view from the pergola is stunning. I recommend this accommodation for a lovely holiday.

Wir waren mit 16 Personen für eine Woche in dem Haus . Das Haus bot für uns alle ausreichend Platz und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Når det er forventet at man skal kildesortere, må det legges til rette slik at det er enkelt for de besøkende å følge opp kildesorteringen. Det bør være ett sett med søppelkasser påmkjøkkenet, en for organisk, plast, resirkulering og papir. I tillegg tydelig info om hvor PG når tømming skal skje. F.eks at glass leveres i grønne bokser nede i tettstedet. Ellers var det flott. IT illegal burde det være såpe på kjøkkenet.

Very nice villa. we we were with 8 adults and 6 children and all had a great time.

Notre séjour à la Casa de Giotto nous laissera un super souvenir. La maison est grande, dans un superbe cadre, au nord de Florence, que l'on peut rejoindre simplement en train.
Le logement est très bien équipé et nos hôtes nous ont bien accompagnés pour faire de notre séjour une réussite. ils ont préparé la piscine plus tôt que prévu pour nous permettre d'en profiter, nous ont conseillé une excellente auberge et nous ont fourni en huile d'olive et vin maison.
Un logement à conseiller.

The villa was beautiful, just as described in the photos. There were 5 of us and we have plenty of room. The weather was chilly and rainy so did not take advantage of the pool at the top of the hill. The villa was close to shops, restaurants, grocery store and the train station in Vicchio if you wanted to get into Florence without driving. Our only drawback was that no one spoke English and the lovely Italian couple who were the caretakers on site didn't speak any English. However, we managed quite well for the week.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im Herbst in diesem tollen grossen Haus. Wir waren 16 Personen und hatten alle genügend Platz. Wir konnten schönen Spaziergänge unternehmen und auch schnell mit dem Auto Florenz erreichen. Auch die anderen Städte der Toskana sind in der Nähe, aber für alles braucht man mehr als eine Woche Zeit. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We have A wonderfull stay In casale giotto. We Were 10 person, and There was plenty of space for all of US. The wiev was amacing and the owners and Theis staff was great. We Can absolut recomand Theis amacing place.

We had a family gathering at this villa from September 24th to October 5th, grape picking time. What a beautiful sight, we walked out to the garden area on the first day and fell in love. The photo's on the website are what you get, we could have stayed here forever. Our family, all 16 of us agree the villa, the location and the price were a great combination, and made for an excellent holiday. The villa was clean well appointed and spacious, even though there were 16 of us we could all find our own space if needed, the outdoor dinning area was a real bonus, as was the pool, even though by this time of year it was a bit cool, or as we liked to call it refreshing.
